Week of March 9th-13th
After school activities this week: Rube Goldberg on Tuesday until 5:00pm. Academic team practice Monday until 4:30pm. Choir practice Wednesday until 4:30pm. Wrestling practice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 4:45pm. Wrestling meet at JHS on Thursday. Second grade STEM Club will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday until 4:45pm.
Boys season cheerleaders celebration will be Tuesday March 10th after school until 4:00pm.
Student Council: The food drive collected 1726 items for The Center of Lay Ministry food pantry. Top 3 classes were 3rd place Mrs. Hobbs class with 105 items, 2nd place Mrs. Bower with 602 items and 1st place Mrs. Schweiman with 624 items. Thanks again for all the support for the student council.

K-2 PURE program: The PURE program workshops for students in K-2 is scheduled for Riverside this coming Thursday and Friday. Guest speakers from Pure Education Initiative, Inc. will be presenting a program called Solutions. This curriculum is focused on solutions to help children navigate through the pressures of this world. It will empower them to use self-control, set boundaries, and to reach out for help if necessary. The program is presented from a public health “whole person” approach. Upcoming Testing dates:
IREAD March 17th and 18th for our third graders. Please make sure your students arrive on time and get a good night’s rest. Breakfast will be served at school for the third graders on testing dates.
Car Rider Line: Thank you for following procedures in the car rider line. It’s important to say in line and follow the directions of staff to make a safe arrival and dismissal for all.
Attendance: If your child is absent from school, please make sure you contact our office before 9:30 AM. You may leave a message for us on the main office phone line at any time with your child’s name, teacher and reason for the absence.
