Week of Jan. 11-15
We had a GREAT first week back to traditional learning. Thank you for all your support. This week all students will be elearning on Friday, Jan. 15. There will not be ‘traditional’ in person instruction. Our day will be ‘asynchronous’. Your child’s teacher will send home more specific information for your child’s class.
We will begin our mid-year testing for NWEA this week. This is a computerized benchmark test that lets us know where your child is in his or her learning. Please encourage your child to do his or her best.
Car rider REMINDERS
Please refrain from using cell phones once the car rider line is moving. We need your FULL attention to help ensure the safety of our students and staff. Please follow the directions of our staff members on traffic duty. Students are asked to follow the direction of the line to load cars, rather than walking backwards against the flow of traffic. This helps ensure a smoother and more efficient traffic flow.
Boys’ basketball intramurals begin this week. All participants MUST have a signed permission slip turned in prior to staying and complete final forms online ($5 fee should be sent to the office). Grade 5 will practice Monday; Grade 4- Tuesday; Grade 3- Wednesday.
PTO will be hosting a Happy Valley Soup fundraiser January 11-25. 50% of all sales will come right back to our school PTO to help purchase items for the school and student incentives. Watch for more details to be sent home tomorrow!
